Hi everyone. Found a new app that tracks one's activities and lets you earn points to join raffles. I walk and run a lot of I've read of similar apps. Those apps though don't work here in the Philippines, this one does. It is called TRAQS. I downloaded the app in my phone, created my profile and started using it. The activities are biking, running, and walking. I couldn't care less for biking but I do run and walk a lot. There are monthly, weekly, and daily targets. The app covers the distance and the amount of time you did the activity. You basically need to cover a specific distance and do an activity for a specific amount of time. Once you complete a task, you earn points. You can use those points to join raffles. Common prizes are free burgers, donuts, and snacks. The more expensive prizes are biking helmets, trekking bags, powerbanks, among others. I already won a flask and coupons for KFC and 7-11. Haven't used the KFC coupon yet but I already used the 7-11 one. I got a hotdog sandwich which I gave to a homeless person staying in the vicinity. Have you used similar apps?

Pretty uses an app like that for when she goes jogging. It gave her points she can turn in for PayPal cash. I never asked her how much it pays, though. @DevMrSamEleazar Do you know about this app, Buddy? It works in your country so you can do it on your phone.

@DevMrSamEleazar Apps like that won't work if you tell it you're running but go faster than a human can reasonably run so it can't be used in a car. Oh, I'm sorry. I was hoping you could use it.

@allen0187 I also like the feeling when I give back to people who helped me during the year to give them gifts during holidays.

That sounds like a wonderful thing! No, I have never used an app like that, but I keep very few apps on my phone. I bet a lot of Mylotters would be interested in it though. I look forward to hearing what else you end up winning.

Yes, I have some but I haven't found any that actually made me money for the activity. I must have the wrong ones.

Never heard of such. It's funny though hat the app motivates you to exercise and main reason is to be healthy but the reward seems to be unhealthy snacks. Isn't it ironic?

Kinda ironic. That is why I go for the items that I can use instead of the food items that they have as prizes for their raffles.

I count my steps every day, I want to walk at least 10,000 steps a day, not run because this is very bad for me and my husband, only walk.

I used too have pedometer that counts my steps as well. I always accomplish the 10,000 steps daily back then.

@allen0187 I use my smartphone to count my steps. I ever count the steps inside my home, I am good with the steps outside.
