Phone Calls and Family

I hope everyone in the world of Mylot had a good day. We had showers this morning and sunshine this evening so it was all good.
Several family members called today so I’ve been on the phone most of the day. I think they planned to fill up my whole day and they almost did it.
One of my sisters was out on the mountain at her sons Tiny House. She’d arranged to have someone come out to spray under the house for spiders and bugs and had to meet him there.
My brother was telling me about the ground hogs in his back yard eating his garden and tearing his lawn up. He didn’t mind. He enjoys watching them and has turned the yard and garden over to the ground hogs.
Actually I enjoyed all their calls, but it didn’t leave me much time for anything else. It was late but I did get out for my walk.

I enjoyed my work day at home sharing good news stories on this site as well as completing surveys with a brief shower passing by my area around late afternoon.

Maybe the ones that called wanted to check up on you because of the weather or just catch up with you. I am so glad that they did not take of all your time so you could get your walk in in the evening. I am sorry you could not get much done with the phones calls coming in.

That was okay, just a day for phone calls. We all call often. I should have made calls today but didn’t my daughter in law and the granddaughter were here most of the day. We took baby girl to the playground and the creek. She was tired when they left.

@RubyHawk It looks like my hubby's sisters never intend to acknowledge him again in this life. Why that is the case is beyond us. He refuses to say anything about it now. His one sister lives about an hour away from us but won't answer a call or letter.

That is nice you had those calls and enjoyed them. I'm not a phone person. I get to distracted and squirrely. I fiddle. I space out even if the conversation is interesting. Three of my friends email me. Occasionally text. It works out great for us. One is a phone talker but she understands me.

@RubyHawk yes that was my brother, when he developed schizophrenia though he stopped walking the dog so we eventually had to re-home him. It was hard to do but we had to much on our plate and he was not able to properly care for him anymore

@chrissbergstrom I’m so sorry that happened to him. I enjoyed his discussions. It was about the mountain and hiking with his dog. I hope his doctor can get him on the right medication. I have a friend who was schizophrenic. He was in terrible shape until his doctor found a medication that worked. He’s fine now. You’d never know he was so off the wall.

I wonder if it is a groundhog tearing up my plants. Hubby thinks it is a raccoon. It is good to talk to family but it also can be a bit tiring. Glad you got your walk in, though.

I have spiders that seem to love making webs on my front porch and the bushes in front of it. I've been hemming and hawing about having someone come and spray.
My daughter has a groundhog in her yard and it drives the dog crazy. I hope he never catches it but I'm sure it's making quite a hole in the ground.
All those phone calls really kept you busy but glad you still found time for your walk.
