It's me again. I hope you don't get tired of seeing my face around here. LOL. Anyway, I got home after grocery shopping. I bought some fish, fruits, and veggies to put in my new refrigerator. Yay! I'm over the moon that I have a refrigerator in my apartment. I went almost a year without one. I use the ice maker I bought last year for Php 3000 (about $60) whenever I need cold water. I'll continue to use it, especially when traveling. It is small and handy.
Apart from fish, fruits, and vegetables, I also bought butter, yogurt, and sugar-free ice cream. I love that I can finally buy ice cream!!! That was previously impossible for me. I'd either consume one tub in one sitting or give it to my partner, who isn't a big fan of sweets. Haha.

Looks like you had a busy but very productive day at the grocery store. And sounds like you were able to snag healthier food options. When I was working in Dubai, I experienced not having a fridge myself. So I can totally relate to your situation. Glad to hear that you're liking your new appliance!

@freelancermariagrace No, I shared with my then roommate for food, so we don't have to always go out and buy food or get takeaways. It can be pricey, plus it's not as healthy.

Yes, I had a productive day yesterday! And I am happy that I was able to buy nearly everything I needed. So, did you always buy take out food?
Yes! I am over the moon. Now, my life is much easier!

@moffittjc Mint chocolate chip is one of my favorite ice cream flavors as well, but it is kind of hard to find one these days.

@freelancermariagrace I just wondered if the taste difference was obvious. I don’t usually eat ice cream, but it’s been an even longer time since I had sugar free ice cream. My favorite is the flavor called Cherries, Pecans, and Cream.

@AmbiePam I couldn't tell whether there was a difference. It tastes sweet, too. LOL. Anyway, Cherries, Pecans, and Cream sound delicious to me. I doubt such a flavor is available in the grocery.

I am glad you got a refrigerator. I've done without things in my lifetime, but I can't imagine how difficult it would be to go without one. I'm sure you will enjoy it!
