do you love going to malls

i don't buy often. i just walk around the mall as the aircon is good there. and also walk around big gardens right outside the malls which still part of the malls property. as the government don't provide public parks. only private businesses like mall owners provide and create big parks for people to enjoy. these malls provide and create green areas in the city.

@DaddyEvil yeah, i know. we have this BGC commercial area, lots of malls and buildings there and parks. it used to be a big military camp of American and Filipino soldiers, with big roads and lots of parks inside. then it was sold by the gov't to private companies. now it's such a beautiful areas for tourist. the roads are big and spacious like in the US. as our normal roads here usually have narrow roads and no parks and no sidewalks for people to walk in.

@hotsummer Oh, I see... We have a large yard behind our house that is grass and trees. It's considered our property since we rent the house that the yard goes with.

@hotsummer The really big malls have those things here, but most of them just have big fountains, and that's not impressive to many. It sounds like you would enjoy our city's Myriad Gardens. They are so beautiful, and an ideal place to appreciate nature in all it's magnificence.

we can only see big gardens and parks on mall areas. and beautiful garden landscape. that's why people here enjoy going to malls. not because we often buy or shop.

@AmbiePam i am sure Iwould. besides malls here, we usually see nice areas like that in places that was once a US military bases and camps here. whatever the American have left are usually beautiful parks and big roads there's one in BGC not too far from my place and the other one like 2 hour drive. both not convenient for me to go to though

yes, it is very expensive to buy there. but then we have here international brands and local ones. I don't go inside the shops of international brands. i can't afford them. i just buy local brands that are affordable. though the quality isn't as great . like levi's pants are expensive, so I avoid them. but it's good quality. the local ones are cheaper. they are so many popular international shops inside the malls. people usually stay away from them. very few people go inside.

oh. that's sad. i don't understand here why malls keep on increasing and sprouting and the same shop from older malls opens another shop on newer malls. I don't know how they sustain their business and pay so many rents on different malls. when the consumers don't necessarily increase. the buyers just change the place where they go to as the newer mall may be nearer than the older one. the malls business here just keep on thriving. though they created their created online shop also to keep up with competition

we need to go there for groceries. but here groceries inside malls are more expensive . that's why I buy mine in groceries that are not located in big malls. and have much affordable price

@LadyDuck that's great. maybe the price on that grocery there is even cheaper than what I can buy here

@hotsummer - There are four grocery stores inside the mall, included Lidl, that is the less expensive here in Switzerland.

great you have nature trail. too bad we have only pollution and traffic when I walk outside.
