Do you hate mosquitoes too?

Yesterday I tried to kill mosquitoes and I couldn't sleep until 1 AM. They made me use an electrical device for them. That electrical device broke because it was very hot and it ruined my extension cord. Now I will have to decide what to do. I am not sure if I can use an extension cord with a stuck prog in it. I hate mosquitoes even more. I wish mosquitoes didn't exist. I had three or four mosquitoes. Usually, I don't kill insects. I leave spiders alone.

I am not a fan of them either, and use plants to keep them away.

That is an interesting idea that I never thought of. Keeping them away is an ideal way of dealing with them.

@dya80dya I have never met a scary butterfly. Lol. Are you just joking or do you have a butterfly experience you can share?

Me neither. I am afraid of butterflies.

I hate mosquitoes, should I arrive to invent something to exterminate them I would be happy.

@dya80dya They always arrive to bite me. I am glad the cold is coming, at least they will die.

I wish someone could exterminate them. I moved to another room and mosquitoes came after me. I can't believe this.

@LadyDuck It's true. Even pesticides can't kill them. Pesticides harmed me and mosquitoes didn't die.

I wonder what do you do to cockroaches, as they are nasty too. You are so good at heart by leaving the spiders alone. Mosquito nuisance is a bit less in my new home, but as far as I know, they are tropical pests, how are they growing in temperate climate like yours? Is it due to heat?

When we lived in New York, the mosquitoes were there. They are everywhere during warm weather. New York is cold during the winter.

@dya80dya A lot of people don't like spiders. I am wary of them. I think they came from space or another world. I usually leave them be because they eat bugs. Roaches give me heebee jeebees. I hate them. They don't pay rent either.

I am not sure why there are so many mosquitoes here. It's not hot here. I don't kill cockroaches either because they are too disgusting. Spiders are useful. They eat mosquitoes.

I despise mosquitoes because they can spread the dengue virus.

Yes, they can be very dangerous. I just read a report about a yellow fever epidemic breaking out in Louisiana. This country has not had yellow fever in a century. It is spread by mosquitoes

Here we are lucky because we don't have this virus.

I don't like skeeters either. If they are a big problem for you, you can buy netting to put around and over your bed to keep yourself safe at night. Make sure you cover or dump things with standing water. They lay eggs and the young live there for a time and then get wings and feel hungry. Then they come for you.

@dya80dya Catts are always looking for new challenges. Do you have good screens on the windows? That might help. Maybe spray the room and close the door an hour or two before you turn in for the night??

I used some pesticides, but that didn't kill them. I think my cats would ruin the netting.
