An hour break / myLot

2 classes down, 3 to go. I have back to back classes off so I have an hour break. I've done some laundry and the dishes. The students are definitely out of the groove with virtual learning. Most refused to turn their cameras on and very few would actually speak and participate. Oh well we are back to normal tomorrow.

I am a learning consultant for my firm. Engagement is SUCH a struggle with virtual classes. In this case, it has a lot to do with workload - students are trying to do their regular job at the same time as the course.

There's no way I wouldn't cooperate when I was that age. My parents would have gone ballistic. Things are so different these days.
