Terry Myers who is a former Seminole County firefighter was at the right place at the right time on Friday when a motorcyclist fell off of a bridge and into Lake Jesup Florida after an accident with his motorcycle. Terry was in Lake Jesup riding in his home when he received a call from a lieutenant to ask Terry to go to the area where the accident happened to rescue the accident victim. Terry did answer the emergency call and with the assistance of his wife to rescue the accident victim who was in the lake five minutes before the firefighters arrived by speedboat to take the accident victim was taken to a local hospital complaining of foot pain. Terry admits that the accident victim is lucky that he was not knocked out from the fall from the bridge into the lake. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/us...

Firefighters are not really retired since they are on call all of the time.

As a country, we are so blessed to have such first responders as Mr. Myers. Most of them consider themselves always on duty and gladly step in when needed, anywhere and anytime.

Most likely the accident victim may have had some mechanical issues.
