Even Colder

And I don't like it. The poor furnace and pellet burner don't either. It seems like they shut down just to fire right back up today. We were at 17 F when I got up with single digit wind chills. Don't like this at all. We should warm up good tomorrow. It can't get here fast enough.
I will walk today and I need to do the dishes. I will clean the counters off good then also. Except for that I will play on my phone, crochet and let the dogs in and out. It's too cold for the dobermans to be outside very long. Patch loves it.

I hear you there 100% My app says it is up to 21 degrees here now...but that's still too cold

@wolfgirl569 Similar here we may get up to the low 30s later in the week. Snow in the forecast on the weekend though

It stopped s**wing here for a while. I hope the s**w bands stay away from us. The dobermans need sweaters! Have a good evening.

Duke is too big to find anything to fit. In extremely cold weather I have used one of my sweatshirts.

@wolfgirl569 I would let out Max and Ice, our Pomeranians, and Ice would refuse to come in when called. When he finally came in, he'd be shivering; and I'd have to wrap him up in a blanket on my lap. So spoiled!

What kind of a dog is Patch?
Is it more furry?
Best of wishes in making best of arrangements to tackle cold.
Interestingly, the morning rains and slight chills have made our place colder as well.
The temperature has dropped significantly.

Yes at least here, it doesn't go bellows 1 or 2 C even in the record breaking winter seasons.
Yet for us, a high of 12 to 13 C and low of 2 to 3 C is enough to make us Shiver !!

Patch is a border collie. They have a lot thicker coat than the dobermans. I just let them in and out more.

The dobermans don't have that insulating undercoat so they feel it fast

You are 27 days away from X'mas, I think you should have cold weather now. I heard you guys have thermostat to control the temperature automatically. So is it like your thermostat didn't work ? ( i am guessing each house has thermostat based on a series - " Big bang theory")

I don't want cold weather. The house is warm and yes a thermostat tells the heater when to kick on. It's that cold outside that as soon as it kicks off the temperature is dropping in the house

@wolfgirl569 I don't like cold weather also. Reason I hate cold weather -
1 I don't get up early ( We don't have thermostat or temperature control in our house)
2 Once you go for shower and come out that temperature drop I don't like it at all.
3 I have to carry additional coat or something to keep my whole body warm while traveling to office.
4 My body is so weak that it catches cold too soon
5 Running nose.
6 We have to go to washroom more often compared to normal weather days.
