"We Are Working Like a Horse" I have said to my co-worker working until 10 in the evening and it has been almost a month already but my co-worker said, "No, you are wrong, we are working like a machine already..." It is Saturday here and all of us did not attend overtime stating our bodies were in pain already. The peak season of our job is really a kind of survival of the fittest and I feel like I am not young anymore for this kind of hardship. Yeah, it is extra money but we are betting our health. Have you tried working like this?

I've spent around 28 years of my life working 16 hour 7 day weeks and it takes a very heavy toll on your body, especially if it is office work where you sit the whole day. It is good if you are fit and healthy, but I've got serious doubts it can be maintained for very long periods. Hope you can find some balance!

Though, we are only doing this during peak season which is from November to December and during March to May it is quite exhausting. I am glad that in a war you can relate on our working issues. Actually after 20 years on working like this I do not think I am still as healthy as before.

True... Doing it during my 20's or 30's it is just okay for me but now that I am 44 turning 45 sometimes I cannot take it anymore.

No. I have not worked like that. But knew many that have, eventually they quit.
