Pre Christmas Dinner..

Good evening from this side of the planet 
. It was a good day with wonderful weather 
. We got clear sky and bright sun for the first time in this week. And that makes me super happy. I did finish few heavy load laundry and cleaning. After a filling brunch of methi paratha ( Indian chapati with fresh Fenugreek leaves), curd and green chutney of coriander and mint, we skipped our lunch. We took a bowl of fresh seasonal fruits after our brunch 
.
Done with my afternoon therapy session. I had only one session. The other family has gone out for vacation and they would be back on Monday night.
Will get ready to go for a dinner party to one of my husband's friend. I have got the gifts packed for them. It's a beautiful candy bowl and a beautiful candle stand with antique looks. I wish I would have taken the picture before packing them
. I hope that they like it. And a big pack of Snickers for their teenage son.
They always invite us for Christmas dinner. They are Catholics. But this year, they have invited us for Pre Christmas dinner as our elder daughter won't be here for Christmas. That's so sweet of them. Moreover, they plan to spend their Christmas quiet this year.
So, I would get ready in a while. My daughters are taking a nap right now. And younger one was super excited today as her exams got over. She has a long weekend till Monday and she can be relaxed for a while. She loves the Christmas party
I will be mylotting till it's time for me to get ready. Wearing a fine silk kurta with Chikankari work( traditional embroidery work from Lucknow in India) for the dinner party. Looking forward to a good time with friends and family

It was a wonderful party. We had good food and good company. I am out in doctor's office for regular checkup.And from here, we would go for movie night. I will try to post the picture of my silk kurti tomorrow from home

I hope that they liked it. Their 10 years old son was all excited to get the chocolates . They didn't open the gift pack in front of us. It was a great dinner party with lots of good food and a great company.

Thank you.. it's past 12 night here. We are just back from a nice gathering of friends. It was really nice with some really good food.
