I have to stay cool

I have to stay cool at this point in my life. If I will not stay cool I will be very miserable in life. Right now I just said to myself that my mother is just like a baby. She needs milk, she needs diaper and she needs a lot of sleep. We turned our family room like into a hospital and my siblings and I learned how to be a nurse or a caregiver. We learned to administer drugs and clean her wounds. We feel like we are nurses. We should hire nurse for her but we can't afford it so we have to learn how to be like a nurse to my mother. Being sick with cancer is not really cool but I need to make our difficult situation easy for all of us in my family. Every afternoon I treat myself to street foods my way to escape the misery I feel. When I have the money I go shopping in malls or online. Yesterday we go to hospital to change her NGT (nasogastric tube) and on the way my father told me to buy Jollibee cheeseburger and fries. I tried to still appreciate the cool things in life and not wallow so much on problems. I tried to enjoy our journey to my mom's recovery. We will do our best to help her recover and I just say if she gets well that is really cool and awesome. But for now it's really a miracle that we expect.

I hope everything comes out well. I´m a survivor from cancer. The chemo and the cancer left some side effects but I´m alive and kicking. Be patient, dearest and hope for the best.

I hope your mother will recover. My Mom had cancer surgery, it took a while to recover, but she lived another 25 years and very well after she recovered.

I have friends and family who beat cancer and are survivors. Your mom has a loving family around her and that is a blessing. That would definitely be a motivation for her to fight it with all her might and come out victorious. Take care. Sending hugs and prayers for your mom and the whole family
