Update on Hubby

I spoke with my hubby last night; and I could only understand about 25% of what he was saying. I don't know if it was the meds or what???
Today when I called he was easier to understand; but he couldn't hear me; so the whole conversation was spent yelling at the phone. He mentioned them finding something in his heart; but they don't know what. We will have to wait until more test results are available. He had open heart surgery in 2004; and he has AFIB. That's all I know about his heart.
He said that MAYBE he might be coming home tomorrow. I hope hubby's cousiin can go and get him.
I managed to heat up a Meals on Wheels lunch today. It was difficult; but I did it. I can always call on my husband's cousin if I can't do something.

I think his getting out tomorrow sounds optimistic..Since there is really no one to give care t home probably better to wait until he can be safely at home.

We shall see. He said his legs are weak. Maybe from sitting in bed all day.

I hope he is recovering. I hope he does get to come home soon. Not much happens on the weekends from hospitals.

I know they usually don't release on Sundays; but that's when hubby's cousin is available to pick him up!

@sallypup We have an appointment with his case worker on Friday. I can talk to her about all of this. Hopefully he will be home by then.

I am alright at taking my meds it is the eating part that I am not good with.

That's very distressing for you, Linda. Is there a chance he had a mild stroke? I know it's hard for you when he isn't there. We'll keep praying for both of you.

That's good you could understand him easier on the phone, that'd be hard though if he couldn't hear you you.
Hopefully he will be able to come home then, and that they can go get him
