My husband likes to do his jigsaw puzzles.
He finished this one, which is 1,000 pieces in just a few weeks.
That is good timing based on the fact that he never works on them during the workweek only the weekends, although last week he worked on it on Friday and alot on Saturday.
The scene is an autumn scene in what appears to be on Mennonite farm. Sorry for the glare and the distraction of the tablecloth in the background.

Very nice..what do you do with them when he has finished one? Some people are so wasteful, I remember one time at the dump I saw a big one that had been built in a frame that someone was just throwing away. I swear people will throw out anything.

@Juliaacv Yes, and some day they might make nice heirlooms at least one or two.

@snowy22315 We're just happy to have them to hang on my office walls and to use as decoration on the coffee table.

That's a beautiful puzzle. My granddaughter has a puzzle of her Maltipoo Winnie.

That's a lovely puzzle. I should take out my puzzles and do them again. How are you feeling? Have a good day.

Thank you.
It is a good pastime for him during the cold months when he is inside more.
Funny you should ask me about how I am feeling.
I hate to tell you.
On Sunday evening I started with a sore throat, it was worse on Monday and again on Tuesday and today I have it still as well as a low grade 37.8C temperature. This was how the pneumonia started in January.

@LindaOHio So far it is just a head cold but it really mushroomed during the course of the day today.
I am taking a daytime cold pill and that is working.

That is quite a puzzle. I like scenes where there is a bit going on. I'll take a pumpkin pie, please.

I haven't done a jigsaw puzzle in ages but I do remember how much fun they were. That puzzle is really pretty and makes me want to do one again. Do you do puzzles too or just your hubby?

Doing puzzles was never something that I really enjoyed.
He would always put up the card table on Boxing Day and we'd all pick away at it over the course of the Christmas holiday time.
I bought him 2 seasonal ones, this one and a winter scene which took him a couple of years to finish.
His next one is a black and white, which should be difficult.

@Marilynda1225 I do not know how you put that together.
I remember my Gramma had a round puzzle of a squirrel with a nut when I was a child, and although I loved to look at the picture on the box, I was always strictly warned not to open it for fear of me accidentally losing some of the pieces. I don't know if she ever got that put together.

@Juliaacv A black and white puzzle should keep him busy for awhile. I remember many years ago someone gave me a solid red round puzzle. It was a challenge for sure but I got it done and probably with lots of unladylike words

That is a cool puzzle. I love doing jigsaw puzzles too. It's something my daughter loves as well, and often we'll work on a puzzle together.
Do you glue the puzzles together and frame or keep them after they are completed? A lot of the puzzles my daughter does she'll save and frame and hang up on her bedroom walls.

@Juliaacv That's awesome! I never thought about using them as seasonal mats on the coffee table. What a great idea!
