Using children for political reasons?

In a somewhat small but yet disturbing way, some MAGA people are using little children to put political papers on doors in some towns and cities. I have never seen one other than online in pictures, nor have I ever had one on my door. Until today. It made me so very sad, that some so-called adults are using children to promote their politics. Seriously?? And this picture/poster is supposed to sway people? (This is a blue city)...no, it's not. I heard from 2 neighbors, since we are in a protected area here, it is posted that there are no solicitors, etc. allowed. We just don't get this kind of stuff. Oh, and it does say ''Tump.'' Would you use a small child to promote your politics? I think it's just wrong somehow.

I think that using children, no matter for which reason, is wrong. I also hate to see children "used" to promote products. There should be better laws to protect children.

I have been told that often when these are made, the parents purposely don’t tell them how to spell key words to make it “special.” The only thing special about this is that the people doing this are idiots. I don’t care which side they represent, it’s not right to use children to promote politics.

@LadyDuck It’s done in so many ways. Beauty contests for babies and very young children, modeling, acting, and more. Let kids be kids. So many use their children as a way to make money or fund a lavish lifestyle.

@MarieCoyle - I remember a young girl who participated to plenty of beauty contests and she was killed at the age of 6. No matter who killed her, I blame her parents for exposing her so much, with heavy make up and wigs. Poor girl.

Probably something ridiculous like a new video game…or a new toy. If parents will stoop this low, it could be anything.

That's a sad poster that does not promote literacy. I'm not fond of this, either.

It just seems wrong. Little children should not have to be involved in politics.

@MarieCoyle Agreed, One afternoon I was in the kiddo pool working out, A little girl came in and said to me that they were moving to I think, Kentucky, cause there they would not be made to wear masks in public. I said that wearing masks protects your health! The girl obviously was getting an ear full from her adults,

@sallypup That's sad, to uproot a family for a mask issue. I have to admit that there are a lot of people that I just don't understand.

That is wrong . You just know these kids are influenced by their parents/family . . . it's not really an opinion they formed themselves. Tump ?

It upset me to know that someone was using their small child to promote their politics. Like I said, it doesn't matter what side a person is on, either way, it's just wrong.

Nothing like indoctrinating children into the cult early! I think children should be open-minded about everything until such time as they are informed enough and mature enough to make political decisions on their own. I generally lean towards the conservative side, but I don’t push that on my family or friends at all. If anything, I try to explain things from the perspective of both parties, although I do have a slight bias towards the right. Haha

@MarieCoyle Well said! Go out and play and leave the politics to the adults. Oh wait, I thought you were talking about me! Haha

I have voted both sides, as I do pick my candidates for what they seem to be and their agenda, not the party. But yes, I see what you mean on that. Little kids shouldn't have to worry about politics at all. Life happens soon enough, kids. Go out and play and ride your bike, have fun!

Kids have it challenging enough anymore just going to school and trying to function. We don't need them in the messy politics.

I think it's wrong, I couldn't imagine doing this myself. I think some people include childer in their politics from a young age and it doesn't allow them to decide for themselves as adults.

That is very wrong and they should leave children be, They don't even understand the concept of this and should not be made to roam neighborhoods putting up these papers,

I would not. Didn't some MAGA person try to use the trafficking of a women she "interviewed" for political purposes? And then it turned out that the trafficking HAD occurred, but it had occurred under the previous administration. 2020. Literally. Oops.
