What are the chances?

I have been exposed to covid 19 this week.
A person (H) who provides less than one hour per week of support in our room tested positive yesterday. She was not running a fever when she was working. She had stayed home due to losing her voice and went to the doctor.
The thing is, her sister, whom she lives with, shares a room with, is having massive migraine-like headaches, and the rest of us, since we know the first diagnosis, believe that "B" likely has it. We are in close contact with her off and on all day.
Let's see if I get it.
These young ladies seem to have a weak immune system. I think they have both had Covid at least twice a year since the pandemic. And they get pretty sick with it.
What are the chances, do you suppose, that I will be coming down with it? I have had a sore throat, not bad, for the last week or so, but I never run a fever.

I hope no one comes down with it. I hope you have some home tests.

Unless I run a fever I will not test. We have home tests and I believe I can also get tested at school. I think I have allergies causing my sore throat.

The only time I ever tested positive for it my symptoms were very mild.

@GardenGerty The virus symptoms are probably less strong now, it's more about the fear that was created during the lockdowns, we still have the same fear.

I hope you don't get it, but you could already have it. I have heard of some people getting it who have very mild symptoms. One person said she had a tickle in her throat and tested herself just for the heck of it and it turned out to be Covid.

I actually am more concerned that it might be strep. I never tested positive for it before last year. I do not have a fever, though, so it very well could be allergies.

@GardenGerty Your throat would likely be intensely sore with Strep.at least that is what myself and my son have experienced.

I hope you don´t get it. At this time, many of us should have a test at home just in case.

@GardenGerty I had covid with no fever. But I thought that I would die with my bronchitis the first week.

I do usually have a good immune system. I do not really know why I am so blessed.

@GardenGerty Same as you, I have no idea why I am so lucky to never be sick.

I am sorry for both the young ladies as they seem to have so many health challenges.

Hope you don't get it at all. Most of the newer strains are very mild but still.

I have had two vaccines and two boosters. I have had it once and it was very mild.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. We had to wait in an area for concert doors to open and I was thinking that would be a hotbed for covid. We still haven't had it - touch wood.

Covid seems to strike people when their immunity is down. I sure hope you don’t get it.
