8 April - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from sunny, warm Green Bay, Wisconsin USA. It's currently 62 F. Our high is 63 F. I'm sure we got that. There's a breeze.
It's been a quiet day with a few things to be thankful for.
I'm thankful for my friend who took me everywhere to find eclipse glasses, but there weren't any. I'm so grateful and blessed that she allowed me to buy her gas for the van. I've been offering since I got rid of the car.
I'm thankful for stopping at the grocery store and getting raspberries. It was literally the only thing I forgot when I was at Hy-Vee last Friday.
I'm thankful for my hairdresser. I called to reschedule the next appointment. I realized I can't do Wednesdays anymore. So, I have a Monday appointment next month.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Faith to Believe. It's tedious as I get all the sentences down to one space. I know I'll be going back over it again. I need to update the technology in the story.
I'm thankful I found another game. It wants me to add friends, and I can do that, but I prefer playing alone.
Okay, that's my day. I need to finish getting my steps and then I'm going to settle in front of the TV with dinner and the foot cycle.

I am thankful it didn’t cloud up or rain today, and I got to see the eclipse.
I am also thankful for friends. Where would we be without our friends!?

I'm thankful for the sun. We saw the eclipse, but it was just like a white haze with a slightly dark sky for a few minutes. To far south to see anything. My sister-in-law texted me a meme of horses wearing what looked like bras to shield their eyes from the eclipse.

We only saw a partial eclipse of the sun; we weren't in the direct path of it. I was out mowing our yard when it happened.
I am thankful I was able to get that done with the new battery. I am praying I can get the church's done in the morning before the rain moves in. We will be wet for the rest of the week.

A lot to be thankful. Thanks that some pending document work got done. That's a big weight off my shoulders.
Sorry that you could get hold of the eclipse glasses. I got pictures from my friends and family in the US. It was spectacular.

raspberries are a good choice. i was thankful for a good lunch that my mum packed me before i departed her

Yesterday I'm thankful that the homemade viewer worked out great. I was frustrated at first because I couldn't figure out how to view the eclipse with it, but I figured it out. I'm not thankful for the cloud cover though.
