4/14/24 - Update on My Husband

Our housekeeper's mother came over and fed me some Walmart Thera-Flu and then started searching for some jeans, a belt and a shirt for my hubby. We then added some treats to the basket - Dr. Pepper, Tootsie Roll Pops and some Rolos. She dropped off the basket on the way home; but I didn't get any feedback either from her or my husband.
My husband didn't call me last night which is very unusual; so I don't know how his day went. It was Saturday so there was no physical therapy. I''m hoping he will call today.
I'm at an impasse with the steps/railing project.

I hate that people won’t call you back for work that you NEED because they figure they’ll “only” get a few hundred dollars instead of many thousands.
Hope he had a good day. He was probably stuffing himself with the Rolos.

Yes, our job is small potatoes compared to other jobs. Yes, he loved the Rolos. He loves chocolate and caramel.

Maybe you can call the nurses station to see if he is ok. It would put your mind to rest to do that, and to hear firsthand. Plus maybe the nurse can tell him to call you ASAP. It beats worrying!!

I hope you are feeling better with the Walmart Theraflu. My sister takes medicines like that when she is sick and they always make her feel better.
