Walked on the beach this morning

It was sunny and me and my dog Sully headed past the mailbox, to the estuary, where I decided to finally go down onto the beach, which is down a steep hill.
I usually don't if it's wet or icy, but today it was dry and I felt like I could manage it without falling.
It was real nice, I collected a few pieces of driftwood and a rock, and took a short video of my dog sniffing around and he really loved it down there.
Then we left, checked the mail and went home. Now the door is open to let the sun inside and he's napping peacefully.

@gcwrites I was staying in a cottage on a lake with friends. Early one morning I walked down to the lake and watched a mother duck squawking at her eleven babies running around. She went in the water and the ducklings all followed her in a line. I have not been there in many years but the memory of it is my happy place.

I will have to make some calls today. I filed an appeal; but hubby's insurance coverage for rehab may run out tomorrow. Have a good day.
