How in the world do people invent these contraptions? I was stunned to see this on one of the ads. It is a vintage dog feeder! I say, have you ever?

I guess it is for people who do not want to have to interact with their pet. I am going to go have a nap, my pets and my husband are in bed.

It's for those that like spending $ on their pets & not having to feed them every day or forgetting to feed them, or MAYBE just when they're gone all day it could be for a lot of reasons.

That's vintage? I think I've seen smaller plastic ones for cats (I think?) - or for pets anyway. I can understand if an owner was going to be out of the home for some time . . . but for everyday use, not cool for the pet.

First time I see. Since I don't have pets, I didn't learn about these accessories. Do people use it for the pet when they must be away for a few days?

No never and I sure am glad I don't have such a big doggy for this kind of feeder, I don't even have a cat feeder and it I did they would fight over it, Now I just place down their bowl with two indentations filled with food and all is fine,

I like that where I can see the feed, I'd get that for mine IF I could afford it of course or find a way to make 1.

@RebeccasFarm Yeah it would but with having 6 dogs that would be expensive BUT maybe for 1 but mine are so old I couldn't see buying 1 & then the 1 I buy it for pass's away. Once all my dogs have past away I'm not getting any more.
