In case you don’t recognize this guy, it’s my grandson!
Last summer, before going to camp in Maine, he went to goalie camp in Minnesota for a month. He got hot playing hockey and his long hair annoyed him. So he looked up hair stylists and found a social media influencer whose hair cuts he liked.
Fortuitously, during camp in Minnesota, he had a game in Toronto, Canada. His mom made an appointment with the stylist and flew up not only for the hockey game, but to get his hair cut.
Don’t you just love it?
The hilarious part is that he flew back to Toronto for another game with his regular team and had another haircut by the influencer. Our family joke is that he has to fly to Toronto every time he needs a haircut. 
He lives in New Jersey very close to NYC, so his nearby hairdressers follow the lines of his cut

He looks so handsome, especially with this new, shorter hairstyle! At that age, my son Chad got his extremely long hair cut short and he never looked back:) If Chad's hair gets a tad bit too long, he's off to get another trim! lol

@DianneN My mother would nag, nag, nag about my brother's long hair! Then, she said I needed to MAKE Chad get his hair cut! Oh, bologna:( It was Chad's hair, not mine!)

@kobesbuddy Exactly! I didn’t make a big deal when my older son wanted to shave his head for a swim meet. Thank goodness he didn’t

That's a handsome grandson you have there. I hope he likes his hair this way. Nice that hairdressers closer can follow the lines of his cut.

@LadyDuck I’m sorry to hear that. That is a serious problem. 
So far, we are doing well. I hurt my knee about 7 weeks ago exercising. I had to wear an elastic knee brace and ice it, but I’m fine now. When I thought I was all better, I went for a walk and aggravated my knee. Had to hobble all the way home. All is well now and I’m being careful. Played tennis this morning for the first time since I injured it.

That's really hilarious. I think he may get tired of flying to Toronto for a hair each time he needs it. The hair style suits him though.

@aninditasen Thanks! Unfortunately, his sport involves a lot of traveling. The family is glad he has nearby hairdressers to now cut his hair.

nice haircut. I had to get my hair cut again a few weeks ago. I went to the same place I went last year, but I chose another hairdresser. She didn't go by the picture I brought, but I like the haircut anyway.
