23 April - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon on this sunny, partly cloudy day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. We were supposed to get rain. The sun is telling me it won't happen. Grrr. We need rain.
Today has been a good day. I can say I know why people get into accidents and why they're always in a rush. They get up late so they're always late and in a rush to get where they're going. This person will not go to bed late anymore. I don't like being late.
I have much to be thankful for.
I'm thankful for the Bible study this morning. It was a wonderful study.
I'm thankful for my ride home. We talked about the Christmas stockings she makes for her family. I told her I had stockings but no hangers on them that a friend made for my kids when they were toddlers. She's putting hangers on them.
I'm thankful for the walk I had this afternoon. I went with two different people and got the majority of my steps. I have them all now and will work on the foot cycle soon.
I'm thankful I have the notifications done. It's good to see what you're all doing in your part of the world.
Okay, that's my day so far. I still plan to work on a book before I get off the computer.

I'm thankful for the still cool nights and warm days. Spring at its finest. I'm thankful that George didn't put up much of a fight We got two of his tube feeds done. He even changed his pants and got dressed again. He's starting to take charge of his over-the-counter meds again, too. Little by little he's acting more like himself, even if he still has after affects of the stroke.

I don't like being late either. I often woke up late and had to hurry to work. I am a night person. I still have about 80 notifications. I've only got about 30 done.

@just4him .......No rushing isn't fun. I like having time too.
I didn't get them done. Have about 180 to do today. I hope to get them done.

I look forward to the day you say you have the new Internet hooked up and working.
Yes, it's wonderful she can do that. My kids are all grown now, but I hang their stockings every year. One even gets filled every year. The others don't because one lives in Texas and the other disowned me.

I am freaky about being on time. I'm always early to appointments, etc. I'm thankful that maybe my husband might come home next month! I hope so.
