4/24/24 - Update on My Husband

I was disappointed to hear that my husband's physical therapy did not go well yesterday. His legs went out on him when he was trying to walk; and he couldn't do anymore walking yesterday. Other than that, nothing new to report. We kept our conversation short last night to keep the phone bill down.

I have Spectrum Mobile and they only charge $19 a month but if you do a lot of online stuff they charge about $29 a month for unlimited data. It works well for me, I rarely use my phone for online stuff so I have the by the gig plan which is $19 a month

@LindaOHio He surely needs more time, I hope they stay with him the time necessary to make him feel comfortable and try to walk again.

You don’t have unlimited calling on your cell service?

The poor guy must be so frustrated. From what you have said, his legs are weak and he has lost much muscle. It is probably going to be a slow process to get back the strength he needs to walk more than a few steps. I feel so bad for him. I’m sure he just wants to get up and walk out of there!!

When you visit with him in person you can say what you really want to say to each other. I am sorry that his walking was limited to his physical therapy. I will continue to pray for the both of you.

Keep us posted. We are concerned. I told you, I gave my father Setbrain 120, which helped him recoup along with Ensure for diabetics (chocolate flavor). These apart from normal medication that is Stamlo 5 mg, Vitamin D3, Glynase Mf, Ecosprin, and Telma 40 half tablet. I give credit to Setbrain 120 and Ensure.

I don't know if he's drinking any Ensure. He was taking D3 at home but not in the rehab facility.

He's supposed to do bed exercises...I don't know if he does.
