The first continuously published newspaper in the American colonies, The Boston News-Letter, published its first issue on April 24, 1704. It was the only continuously-produced paper in the colonies for 15 years and ceased publication in 1776 due to the American Revolution. Read more about it here: What is your favorite newspaper today? I know it's hard to pick one, as there is so much doubtful news out.

Yes, it's hard to find unbiased newspapers. I rely on YouTube. At least seeing the same faces over and over helps me remember what their views and values are, so I can keep their bias in mind and do more research if I feel like it. They often share the sources where they get the info from, misinformation can still occur but it's limited compared to random Facebook posts.

@RebeccasFarm Thank you for sharing that with us. I only go online these days and go to a place where I like to send the links from called Arutz Sheva. It is Israel National News but has other news as well.

I buy the Sunday paper every week of the only newspaper they have here. It is really thin compared to the fat papers in Colorado.

I haven't read an actual newspaper in years. I usually get my news from the tv.

That's a long time for a paper to run. I should research Australia's newspapers.

When I was a kid we subscribed to the local paper, The Daily Local News (delivered daily). My brother was a paperboy way back then. He would meet his wife on his route and kept the job up until a few years ago. He'd get up at 2 AM deliver papers until 6:30 AM then go to his 40+ hour a week job. For a while here I subscribed to the Taylorsville's Times (delivered once a week), but when it was time to renew the price more than doubled. That was a least 10-15 years ago. I would hate to know what they charge nowadays for it.
