Creative ways to eat Matza!

Israel

I have some french fries and I am using the Matza as a plate. When I finish the french fries I will eat the plate too! In the Jewish religion, it is now Passover and we Jews should eat matza for 8 days. after Day 1, we have to find new ways to eat the matza as we don't have any bread for that time. Any other ideas?

Thanks for sharing, is Matza an unleavened bread?. I haven't tasted it or maybe tasted something similar to it. Is it the same as pita bread?

@florelway Yes, matza is unleavened bread. We eat it for the whole holiday of Passover and then after the holiday I get bread. Pita bread we cannot eat. Here is information on matza and also as Rachael put a picture you can see what it looks like. We cannot eat pita bread because it is part of the bread family. We have stuff for the holiday and have to put away and sell our leavened stuff we cannot eat till after the holiday is over. I hope this helps you understand it better. Here is the link:

@DianneN I am glad, Even after Passover is over, many people have lots of Matza left over and they continue to eat ti. It is rather expensive, so I wouldn't want to waste my money. And then I can put many more different types of food on the Matza that I don't have in the house right now.

A Matza plate, cool idea! Well, I would eat it the way I eat bread. You can make bruschettas, for example. Matza doesn't absorb tomato juice and olive oil as good as normal bread does, but it can still work. Taste isn't an issue, for some people Italian bread is too bland for their liking, go figure.

During the week of Passover, we don't eat rice cakes either. So we have to come up with creative and tasty ways to eat the Matza.

@lifecoachjerusalem I would make a taco filling, then eat the Matza in place of a tortilla shell.

@lifecoachjerusalem I like your idea how you eat matza with french fries. I like to eat it with peanut butter and nutella and also with butter on it. I also like to eat matza with humous.
