Putting Myself on a Budget

April 24, 2024 2:54pm CST
I'm not a big spender anyway, but little things have a tendency to add up, so I'm going to be watching more carefully about the $10 items that I buy and silly things that I don't need. I do spend some on buying small gifts for others like the bible study girls or the servers at restaurants, but I probably won't change that. I've been blessed and I can use these gifts to bless others. But I can cut back on chocolate at Walgreens, and eating lunch out every day. Are you on a budget or do you just wing it?

Oh, I have to be on a budget. Every dime is accounted for. Only my online Amazon survey gift cards are mine to do with what I want.

For the most part we just wing it. However we do try to be careful with how much we spend

We just wing it. We don't spend much each month. Have a good day.

I follow my budget strictly. Even I like to give away small thoughtful gifts to people who really count. I will not cut on that. My budgeting would always include that.

We try to be thrifty in everyday purchases and I have all the bill budgeted. It is when one of the vehicles needs major repairs or appliance goes out that drives me nuts. I don't like to drain the savings, so try to cut back during those times.

A little bit of both. Although I'm still recovering from the two months george was hospitalized. When George starts driving again, that'll help in terms of expences because we won't be spending them on uber rides for the erronds that need run.

I am not on a budget. Can’t take it with me, so I’ll spend it now.

I know people from all walks of life, right now I would have to say, pretty much everyone I know is on a budget. I know pretty much everyone has cut way back on eating meals out...it seems even fast food places are at least twice as much as they used to be. I am on a budget. I am currently trying to support my son and myself on a very fixed income. There are others who have it worse off than I do, I know. It's nice that you give gifts to others, I'm sure they are appreciated.

I try to use a budget, but many times there are big ticket items that I need to take care of, I will probably need a new stove as only 2 of the burners are working. So I need to save up a bit so I can get that in about a month. I am usually very strict about little cutsy stuff.

I'm not on a budget. But I have a rough idea of how much I spend per month.

I keep myself on a tight budget. Before I make my once a month grocery order I go online to Walmart and I make a list of all I am planning on buying, and then finally make the purchase when my SS come in, That way I know how much will be left in my account,
