Waiting is a tedious process

Have you ever waited for something to happen soon, but it seems like it is testing your patience so much? My fiance and I have been waiting for my visa application to be approved, and yet we are not hearing from it yet. We file for the visa last August 2023 and it has been 8 months already and still no update yet. What makes it more frustrating is that there are those who also applied same date with us and already got approved with their visa application. I wonder when will it be our turn.
Are you waiting for something now that you really want so much?

We downloaded an app to track our visa processing and it says we are still under normal processing. So we cannot call them still. However, while it becomes outside the normal process, which we don't like to happen, we have to phone them.

@annierose i never applied for visa but i thought they would post you now and then and that you wouldn't wait this long. i really hope you will get some answer soon

@grenery8 Thank you very much. They still have backlogs from 2022 filer. Those filers have been waiting for almost 2 years for their visa to be approved.

It takes a while for some countries to process visas, especially if they've issued a lot the past years. We waited 3 years before we got our US visas because there was such a huge backlog during the pandemic years.

Patience is a virtue. I just put everything into prayer. There were times that I was so frustrated but my frustrations will not do anything. It is useless to worry since the situation is outside our control.
