Sunshine on a Friday

Good morning myLot, Happy Friday! 
Although the air is cool right now, the sunshine looks beautiful and there isn't a cloud in the sky. It should be a nice day today.
Best of all, it IS Friday. 
I am looking forward to having the weekend off. Today should be a busy day, that will make it pass quickly. That is my personal sunshine, a workday that passes quickly and leads to my weekend!

I'm in Dallas, Texas, for a paintball tournament this weekend. Yesterday (Thursday) was a beautiful, sunny day. Today started off nice, but then severe storms moved in, forcing the temporary postponement of mid-afternoon games. It looks like the temps will be rising steadily over the next few days.

@Juliaacv The Sunday playoff rounds were cancelled due to severe weather and tornadoes in the area, so we never got to finish. My team was not playing that well and barely made it into the playoff round. We’ll complete the tournament in May when we play our next regularly scheduled tournament in Maryland. That will be very interesting because we’ve never had to do that before.

@LindaOHio I'm glad that you are feeling better, you were down for a while with that.
I went to a walk-in medical clinic yesterday to see a doctor as I woke up feeling unwell. I have a throat infection, a rattle in my chest and when he examined my ear it was red. I have antibiotics that I have started on.
My husband has an ear infection, he is on medication also.

The flowers look good. Busy days are often more helpful in making our days.
They keep our mind from wandering away in directions that could be counter productive.
And yes the weekend beckons us to enjoy our time in our own ways.

It's sunny here this morning too and even though I'm retired I still enjoy Friday and anticipating the weekend.

I am nice and relaxed now that the day is over.
I am actually making a grocery list for shopping in the morning.
I am trying to cut down on trips to the grocery store by doing a big haul every other week and just getting fresh produce in between. I have to really have my thinking cap on when I am shopping so that I don't forget anything.

Weather is really bad here. I haven't seen the sun for more than a week. And according to the forecast, such weather will continue for the next 10 days at least.
