Moved my indoor exercises to an earlier time slot

I got up at a little over 6 a.m. today to help my husband with the laundry and to make breakfast. We had canned sardines (sauteed in garlic, tomatoes and lots of red onions), moringai bread rolls, and slices of cheese. My husband had his usual brewed coffee while I drank my usual morning juice. (I had dragon fruit juice.) After a bit of rest and myLotting, I decided to do my usual morning exercises at around 8 a.m. Lately I've been enjoying the stretches and workouts of yes2next on YouTube. They're a mother and daughter tandem. Mom is a senior and daughter seems to be my age. I love them 'cause they're kinda funny when they exercise together. And the workouts are gentle enough for my aging body. I usually do my indoor exercises at noontime just before I take a shower, have lunch and then head out to pick up my girls at school. It's the usual order of things when the weather is tolerable. But on hotter days, I'd normally move the exercises to an earlier time or mayber later in the afternoon. For now, the early morning slot is best because it's when everyone's out and I've got the apartment all to myself. I need the space! I can't wait for the temps to become cooler. I miss outdoor walking and slow running. I'm thinking of alternating swimming and indoor workouts in the mornings. I just need to get a new pair of contact lenses so I won't have to swim in a super blurry pool.

Hopefully by end of July, when the wet season comes.

@TheHorse So I've heard. My family and I will be there in June and will stay until July. Anticipating another hot weather but hopefully more bearable than what we have here.

Thank you for the encouragement, Karen! I've gone back to exercising after nearly a year of being lazy. I'm happy I found this YT channel -- the exercises are so doable and fun.

That sounds like a lovely morning routine. Helping with the laundry, a tasty breakfast, and some fun exercises to start the day. It sounds perfect. Thank you for sharing the youtube workout you are doing. I just checked it and I think I will ask my mom if she wants to try it. I bet getting back to outdoor walking and slow running will be fantastic once the temperatures cools down. Swimming sounds like a great addition too. Do you have a favorite place to swim or run outdoors?

Thank you. I'm slowly getting back to my daily fitness routine. I need to lose weight. I swim in the pool at our condo and walk in Arcovia City in Pasig. But it's been so hot lately so I just do my workouts indoors with the AC running. Haha.

I do most days. It's been like this for some years now. I take naps during the day.
