Our housekeeper's mother came over yesterday to pick up a few things that my husband wanted. Then she made me some PB&J sandwiches...must refill the supply!!!
I've lost 24 pounds; but I'm not sure how. Maybe it's eating those PB&J sandwiches for dinner instead of things like chicken tenders and potato salad that my hubby used to make for me.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Vegetable lasagna, carrots, succotash, pineapple
Dessert/Snack - Mini vanilla wafers
Dinner - Chicken lo mein prepared by our housekeeper - It was pretty good
What did you eat yesterday?

@LindaOHio I am fixing to get serious about losing some weight now. I have a lot more energy now that the weather is nice and warm.
I am going to start doing a meal replacement shake 1 x a day and get back on my L-Carnitine Shots daily. Love the L-C --gives you more energy and curbs the hunger!

@kareng Good luck! I am eating less since I have to heat up meals myself. It's too hard for me to walk back and forth to the kitchen.

Good for you on losing the 24 pounds. Stress can often lead to weight loss, and as you said, your diet has changed as well.
I love vegetable lasagna, so good.

The veggie lasagna was OK. Most of their meals are just OK.

I’m sorry, I wish you had more options. I have heard the same thing from other people about Meals On Wheels, that they are just OK.

Yes, I think that the PB&Js are the ticket in helping you to lose those pounds.

Yogurt for breakfast, baked potato for lunch, and chicken taco salad (there’s a Chuy’s in the shopping center next to my hotel) for dinner! And apples!!!!!

That's good she made you more of those sandwiches. And that is great on the weight loss. That could be why!

I made a layered casserole of American cheese slices, put seasoned fries on top, then a couple of hot dogs, all topped with baked beans, and then topped with cheese, Baked for 30 min it was very good,

I'm glad your housekeeper picked up things for your husband and made you PB&J sandwiches and a delicious dinner. Your lunch looks good. I don't know what succotash is.
Yesterday, I had eggs, potato, banana, and a Swiss cheese sandwich on Keto bread for breakfast. I had veal, riced broccoli and cauliflower, and a potato for lunch. For supper, I had a potato with shredded cheese and sour cream. I had a Dove DC Promise for snack. All my numbers were good, and my calories were low. The scale should be good. I also found that the difference between the food app and Excel is about 300 calories. So, all those high calories it showed were inaccurate.

You're probably worrying that weight off looking after your husband. It can be very stressful.
