Went To Livestock Auction

There were some cute baby goats there. But no piggies. Not a single little piggy. I was very surprised. They had more than enough sheep today. I did not stay for those. Visited with a few people and then came home. The sun was out by the time I headed home.
Patch wasn't happy as I didn't take her. I didn't want to smell wet dog there and back. She had sat out in the rain. She will go for a ride in a week or two to get her rabies shot.
I did get my tomatoes planted this evening. Tomorrow I hope to plant the lemon balm. Then I will be caught up until I get more plants.
The picture is the venus flytrap. I will finish the second one soon. Hope you had a good day.

I planted some more tomatoes today that were supposed to be eggplant!! They came out of a package marked eggplant! I also had the same thing happen with calliflower. That one turned out to be squash. I guess we are having a garden of surprises this year.

That is bad. Big difference in those 2 plants. I do get to see the plants before I buy them at the auction. Your garden could be interesting this year

@wolfgirl569 I had read that a couple of companies had trouble with packaging this past year. I can confirm that now! I just hope we don't end up with too much of one thing!!

Some of the goats were tempting. But I know a couple of those baby ones will not survive sadly. You could tell it there.

No piggies? Maybe next time...if that's what you want. I like your Venus flytrap!
We just had an hour of absolutely gullywashing thunder/rain storms. No damage, wind wasn't that bad. But oh, did it ever come down hard. Just a heads up, what I get, you usually get later.
