I am waiting for the gas man to fix the cylinder. I´m not sure if the cylinder he brought on Saturday is not good or (more probable) I was asleep when I changed it last night and placed the same empty cylinder in the heater.
But when I do dumb things I don´t worry much. Anyone can mess things a bit. So I decided that I´d be bright now. And I called the man to have him do the job.
He loves me. Once in a while I prepare a special meal for him (he is a diabetic) or I give him something that he wants and askes me how much can he pay for it. Nothing, I say. Take it.
In my country, people of the higher classes just don´t speak to workers, unless it is to give a command. For me, that is disgusting. People that are badly treated are resentful and I don´t blame them.

Never hurts to have it looked over. Even if it's a stupid-simple fix, you may never know. You want the heat to last the winter.

@kaylachan The gas man told me what I had guessed. Yesterday, half asleep, I took out the empty cylinder and carefully put the same cylinder back. At least I did not have to do the work today. He looked at me and just said my name in such a way that if I was the kind of person that is ashamed of things I would have blushed. But I didn´t. I told him cheerfully if wasn´t that dumb and of course he could not agree.

I do not blame anyone who is mistreated for being resentful at all.

I completly agree with you. I even tend to be resentful myself rven if the mistreated person isn´t.

I hope you get the gas situation fixed. You only get the treatment in return that you put out. "Treat others the way you want to be treated." You are doing what is right! Have a good day.

There aren't supposed to be 'classes' but there definitely are. When I do something silly I blame it on my eccentricity! lol
