Today's trip to the little Tesco. (7 May 2024)

So I've just been to the little Tesco again. My weather app said cloudy, 34% chance of rain, and there were little cloud symbols until 12:00 midday, which had a cloud with rain symbol. At 15:00 and 16:00 there were cloud symbols with lightning bolts underneath! So I thought If I hurry up I'll miss any rain. And I was right. It was cloudy and cool out, but it did not rain on me. As I was walking up our street, there was a van parked on the path. I didn't know if I was going to be able to get passed it. It was a carpet fitter, and I know that because a man came out of a house and went to the back of the van and brought out a roll of carpet and took it into the house. I did manage to get passed the van with about an inch of space each side. When I got to the shop I got this weeks Radio Times, because it has episode previews for the new series of Doctor Who from Russell T Davies. I also got 2 What's On TV magazines as usual. Then I went and got a bounty bar for Syd and some of the large fresh custard tart things from the bakery area. After that I went and got some strawberries. These ones were in the large square container. Then I went and got some Alpen cereal with no added sugar for my Mum. (The one that we got from the big Tesco last week was given to me because she found she didn't really need it and one of my boxes was nearly empty.) ? Next I went and got 2 bottles of milk and then I went to pay. It came to just over £17. Then I set off for home. I went passed the carpet fitters van again and then I arrived home. I took the Radio Times into my room, then went and gave my Mum her change, club card and shopping list. Then I unpacked the groceries and put them away. Now I'm watching Homes Under the Hammer again.
