Marjorie Taylor Greene has moved to take a vote to remove Speaker of the House Mike Johnson

This is just pure performance art at this point. She is a chaos agent. MTG is currently throwing a temper tantrum on the House floor ranting and raving about how Speaker Johnson has betrayed the Republican conference with his actions like putting a vote to fund the government and to supply aid to Ukraine on the floor. She actually got booed by both sides when she announced it on the floor. Democrats in the House have already said they would vote to save Mike Johnson's job. Many Republicans have said that too. 8 GOP representatives spoke out against this action on the Capitol steps while she was ranting and raving inside. The vote needs 218 in favor of vacating the chair and that simply isn't going to happen. Like I said this is just performance art. I actually find it funny that she is pulling this since her hero Trump has made it clear that he supports Johnson. Apparently Republican leader Steve Scalise will make a motion to table the vote which kills it. I kind of would like to see MTG win this and Mike Johnson removed. That would give us Democrat Speaker of the House Hakeem Jeffries. EDITED TO ADD: Yup. It has been tabled. MTG continues to look like a fool.
