My former neighbor is pissing me off

She currently is flipping out because I’m not back at the apartment with Whiskey yet. She’s mad and saying he’s never alone that long. I was like “at this point he’s only been alone for 30 minutes longer than usual”. Like I think he can handle an extra half hour and if he can’t that’s her fault.

I think you need to put your foot down after this visit. She's clearly taking advantage of you. She's a hipocrit, as her shifts are 12-hours long. She was the one who decided to go on vacation and leave her beloved pet with you. As a nurse, you'd think she'd understand the seriousness of your doctor's appoitment today. Or, did you not tell her?

@NJChicaa And, she's still going off on you? girl? this has got to stop. I know Charlie thinks Wisky is his budy, but you have to take care of yourself, too.

@kaylachan What kills me is that I am doing HER a favor. It isn't like she's paying me to do this. If I wasn't doing this she'd have to pay a kennel to watch the dog. And it wasn't like I was out shopping or hanging out at a bar. I was at the freaking doctor.

She is the one that decided to have a dog even though she's away so much...and you are not responsible for his care 24/7.

When you said you were going to keep Whiskey for that long (for free, wow!) all I could think of was that Whiskey's owner is not a good friend to you. And you deserve for her to be! I hope I didn't jinx you, because I thought, what if you absolutely had to be gone, you got sick, your mom did, someone did...what are you supposed to do with the dog then? And then she has the nerve to act mad today?? I'm with Kayla. No, you didn't ask my opinion..she is using you so badly, does she have any idea in the world how much it is to board a dog?? A TON. When she gets back, tell her you are done. Done forever. And tell her to lose your number. The dog can learn to stay with her mother, the dog will not die from that. You deserve good, caring friends!
