We caught the rat

Last night the rat was caught in the trap. It was huge and I didn't expect this. I am so glad we caught it early before ruining our home. I heard a loud noise in the bathroom. It tried so hard to escape. One of my cats was terrified when he saw how big it was. We didn't have to kill it. My father took it outside. I hope it didn't have any disease. We sanitized the bathroom. I didn't expect to catch it so soon. I thought that rats were smarter. I am glad that no one has been bitten. I read about diseases carried by rats. I found out that Leptospirosis is a dangerous disease. I am worried that I can get this disease. My father's friend died because of Leptospirosis. But it's a very rare disease. I can understand why some people keep rats as pets. It seemed so innocent and cute, but I know that they can bite and be aggressive. But cats won't touch it. They are smart and they know that they can be dangerous. The rat we caught was a Norway rat and some people keep them as pets.

My mom said the same thing until she saw it. She has a huge rat phobia, but she said that it's cute. I was surprised when I heard her saying this.

They are, but humans are destructive too. They ruined this Earth and they don't stop.

@dya80dya People are too anxious to kill things they don't like, they don't realize that the critters are on earth for a reason and don't necessarily HAVE to be killed. Rats catch other destructive insects and creatures and eat them, which helps humanity. I had a pet rat that I adored. He was bred to be a pet and his name was Igore. I treated him like a king and kept him clean and made sure that he was vet checked throughout his life. The vet thought it was hysterical that a female owned a rat, but he finally adjusted to it.

We don't have to worry that it would damage our things.
