What is your opinion on robots and immigrant workers working on farms

May 10, 2024 4:52am CST
The United states and some parts of Asian are now using both immigrant workers and robots to work on farms. This has improved efficiency and reduced costs of farming but many people still believe that it will take jobs away from many people if allowed to continue. What do you think?

This is exactly what also the AI is doing, writers are losing jobs, script writers are losing jobs, photographers also, but no one is complaining.

@LadyDuck Oh , that's sad. Cashiers are low-paying jobs that should have been retained

I guess that will keep happening, though companies will reduce their costs since robots dont get paid.

robots will not be able to differentiate between ripe and unripe fruit, so human labor is needed for that.

@ogbenishyna The program does not guarantee that the robot can feel it, the robot's abilities are limited.

Are you sure they wouldnt program a robot to do that?

Yes, people will lose jobs and this is scary. How can we survive without a job? Many people already lost their jobs.
