We went to the big Tesco again yesterday. This was because we couldn't get anything from the big Tesco on Wednesday because they had a power cut while we were in there and we couldn't pay because the tills were down. You may have read my previous post about this. I didn't have any soft recycle to get rid of because at least we managed to get rid of that on Wednesday. So I just found a trolley, checked it didn't have a wonky wheel, and we went up on the lift. One lift wasn't working after the power cut on Wednesday. It might have been because the fire and rescue service had to prize it open to get the person out who was stuck in there. When we got in I got some magazines. I got the new issue of Artists and Illustrators magazine that wasn't there on Wednesday. I think the new issue came out on Thursday. If we hadn't have been going on Friday I wouldn't have been getting it till the Wednesday afterwards. I tried to find the same stamping magazine that I had on Wednesday, but now it was sold out. I got a different craft magazine instead, but it wasn't really what I wanted. I didn't need any prawn layered salads or water, so then we went and got some nappy sacks for my Mum and I also got some baby wipes to wipe my hands on after I've been painting. I had a splitting headache at the time, and I'd forgotten to take some headache pills before I came out. We needed some new headache pills anyway, so I got 2 boxes of Nurofen lemon meltlets. Then I went to get some pads for my Mum. There weren't any in the feminine hygiene section, but I got some panty liners for myself. I knew there were some of my Mum's pads at the end of one of the isles, so I got a packet from there. Then we went to the fruit and veg section. I had managed to get most of mine from the little Tesco on Wednesday, but I got some pomegranate seeds. My Mum got some lettuce and tomatoes. I went to look for some walnuts, but they were still out of stock. Then I went and got 2 lots of edamame beans. We didn't need any milk, yoghurts or puddings, so.we went straight to the cheese isle and got some Danish blue cheese for Syd, and some Lurpack Lighter butter. We didn't need to go to the ready meals isle, so I went straight and got my fine sea salt. Then I got my long grain and wild rice. Next we went to the cakes section. Mum was looking for something for her and Syd for supper, but the doughnut ones she'd wanted on Wednesday were now sold out, so she went for a couple of apple turnovers instead. She also got 2 lots of Mr Kipling cakes too. Then we went to get some crisps for Syd, then I went and got some mixed nuts. Then we went to the cereal isle and I got some porridge oats, which I'd actually forgotten on Wednesday, and we got some Swiss style muesli for Syd. After that we went to the frozen section and I got my vegan magnum ice lollies and some frozen chopped garlic. My Mum got some boxes of chips for Syd and I got my salmon chunks and salmon skewers. Then I went to get two lots of toilet paper. And then we went to pay. I was umming and arring over which till to go to, I was trying to see which had got the least things left in their trolley! I eventually chose a till and as soon as there was room I started placing them on the convey belt. There was no chance for anyone to start putting their stuff on before we'd finished because my Mum was standing at the end of the conveyor blocking it completely! So we packed the groceries away and Mum payed for them. When we went to sit on the bench it was still only 3:45pm! My Mum had told Syd to come and fetch us at 4:30pm again. We had ages! I filled the time by reading one of the free Tesco magazines. I think my Mum nearly fell asleep. When we went down to the car park, Syd was already there, but the pick up point was full and Syd's car was at the end jutting out into the main road bit. Someone was trying to back out of a parking space towards Syd's car and there were a couple of old ladies sitting on the bench going "Ooh! Aah! Oh, no! He's so close!" He did manage to get out without knocking Syd's car though! I The people in the pick up spot didn't seem to be going anywhere soon, so Syd got out of the car and we put the bags in the boot with the car where it was! Then we got in the car and drove off! When we got home we unpacked the groceries and put them away. Then I had my dinner, which consisted of a banana, some edamame beans, a protein bar and some mini cheddars. This protein bar was blueberry muffin flavour, and I liked it much more than the peanut delight flavour! I watched some telly and read some magazines. What did you lot get up to yesterday? And what are you lot getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

@sharonelton I'm always up all night and I usually don't nod off unless I've been up 24-48 hours. I have a huge problem trying to sleep.

@LindaOHio I've been staying up later recently. I sleep well, but sometimes over sleep. I'm sorry you have trouble sleeping. Is it because you are worrying about your husband?

Thank you very much. I had some more headache pills and after a while it went away. What have you done to make you so tired? For me it was staying up late yesterday to watch the Eurovision song contest, and then afterwards for two episodes of Doctor Who: Unleashed, the companion show that goes behind the scenes. I did have a good day, thank you very much. I hope you did too.

@sharonelton We drove along the coast and had a picnic lunch on the rocks in the sunshine. Then we drove down the coast and had coffee and buns. Then I took my new teeth out to clean them and almost dropped them down the toilet. If that had happened would I have just washed them and put them back in my mouth? Would you?

It sounds like you had a good time driving along the coast and having a picnic and coffee and buns. No, it would not have been good if you had dropped your new teeth down the toilet.
