Good evening from sunny, hazy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The current temperature is 65 F.
It's been a sober day today, but still a good day.
I'm thankful I found out the reason for my really bad day yesterday was my phone. I got upset because my son didn't call, come over or anything all day. When I called him, he told me he had called, but without proof, I didn't believe him. Today he sent me a picture of the history on his phone showing me he did in fact call. I didn't have my phone off. It was before I went to church. It never rang. My phone doesn't show any calls. I received a text from my sister today. After several texts, she too tried to call. She then texted to say the call didn't go through. I checked my settings. They're fine. My phone gave me the worst Mother's Day ever. At least I'm starting to feel better than I did all day. For that I'm thankful.
I'm thankful for Sammy. I dog sat for several hours today while his mama took her sister to lunch for her birthday. He was good as gold.
I'm thankful for the time I could spend with you today. You are a large part of my day. It's good knowing how things are in your world.
Okay, that's my day. Even on bad days, there's something to be thankful about.

I'm glad you figured out. Have you tried restarting your phone? Sometimes calls failing are a bad connection to the carrier. Turning your phone off then back on again resets network connections and solves most problems.

It won't turn off. I tried everything to do so. I'm letting the charge go down so it shuts off and then I will turn it back on and hope it fixes everything. I had someone else look at it too to see if I missed how to turn it off. She couldn't find anything either to turn it off.

Sometimes, phones do silly things. If you continue to miss calls, maybe you can get it checked out. If you never turn your phone completely off, turn it off once a week for a few minutes to reset it. It always seems to help.

@MarieCoyle I found the power button finally and got it working again. I was without a proper working phone for two days. Even texting wasn't working. They could have hidden the instructions better. I never found the same information twice when I looked at phone fixes. One didn't give me any information about how to turn off and on the phone and finally, I found the instructions and got it turned off, and then had to figure out how to turn it back on. The instructions didn't give me that information, but more playing around with it and I found the right button. It doesn't look like a button, and I got it on and working.

Sounds like something is up with your phone..missing calls or texts from a VIP can be upsetting. Really glad you had a good time dog sitting too.

@just4him That will be fun for you. It is nice to see Jax when he comes to visit..the only bad thing is he doesn't get along very well with my cat. You always have to keep an eye on them to make sure one isn't trying to cause trouble with the other.

I am very glad he tried to call you. Now he knows to text you until it can be figured out.

I am thankful that the bad weather that came over my neighborhood did not cause any harm due to tornado warning that started about 90 minutes ago.

I am glad that you found out the reason...I am sorry that it was your phone that caused all of that. Sometimes technology can be more of a problem then helpful. Glad you are starting to feel better and still can find something to be thankful for.
I am thankful I got my implant out and it didn't hurt...and now I can start on the next part of my journey.

Hey, you know your son loves you and at least he tried to call you. Now you need to have your phone checked out, I am thankful for getting all my blogging done and cashing out on a survey site for $5

I am thankful that I got to research the story of Abraham and his boys, Isaac and Ishmael, today. I am glad God blessed Abraham and Sarah with a child. I had forgotten the part about Abraham and Hagar having a child. I believe taking in a stranger (perhaps it was the angel Gabriel, who seems to work overtime!) may have contributed to God's kindness to the aging Abraham and Sarah. Enough bible study for today. I may take a cycle!

There are so many things I am grateful for. Grateful for good health. Grateful for peace of mind. Grateful for being kept away from disasters, etc.
