Two Mothers

This is my mom and my sister. I took this photo last Mother's Day celebration in the house. It was just a simple lunch that mom cooked for usand it was delish. My brother brought them fliwers on his way home . I, on the other hand is doing our laundry that time. It was their first bouquet of flowers because they never liked the idea of buying flowers and then put it on display for days and when the flowers are wilted and dry throw them away..
Both are single parents too, with the added responsibilities of a dad. Single moms need respect, love and understanding, its not an easy job being mom thats why for a change , we did some celebrations to let them know they are loved and valued.
How was your Mother's Day celebration in your country? Is it nice ?

I didn't greet my mother mothers day and not even a single gift. I didn't realize and it was too late.

You are right , being a single parent is really hard to do , my mom raised us by herself and with the help of her brother and sister , same goes with my sister too , she raised her daughter without the help of the father , We help my sister raise her child and I can see her efforts too .

I currently live far away from my family.
I was able to greet my mother a Happy Mother's Day though, but it would have been even better if I was actually physically present before her during the Mother's Day.
I'm glad you were able to celebrate Mother's Day with your whole family.
