Day 119 – Position Numbers 2:1 JEHOVAH spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, 2 “Every one of the children of Israel will camp by his own standard, beside the emblems of his father’s house; they will camp some distance from the tabernacle of meeting. 3 “On the east side, toward the rising of the sun, those of the standard of the forces with Judah will camp according to their armies; and Nahshon the son of Amminadab will be the leader of the children of Judah.” 4 His army numbered seventy-four thousand six hundred. 5 “Those who camp next to him will be the tribe of Issachar, and Nethanel the son of Zuar will be the leader of the children of Issachar.” 6 His army numbered fifty-four thousand four hundred. 7 “Then the tribe of Zebulun, and Eliab the son of Helon will be the leader of the children of Zebulun.” 8 His army numbered fifty-seven thousand four hundred. 9 “Everyone numbered according to their armies of the forces with Judah, one hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred—these will break camp first. 10 “On the south side will be the standard of the forces with Reuben according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Reuben will be Elizur the son of Shedeur.” 11 His army numbered forty-six thousand five hundred. 12 “Those who camp next to him will be the tribe of Simeon, and the leader of the children of Simeon will be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.” 13 His army numbered fifty-nine thousand three hundred. 14 “Then the tribe of Gad, and the leader of the children of Gad will be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.” 15 His army numbered forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty. 16 “Everyone numbered according to their armies of the forces with Reuben, one hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty—they will be the second to break camp. 17 “The tabernacle of meeting will move out with the camp of the Levites in the middle of the camps; as they camp, so they will move out, everyone in his place, by their standards. 18 “On the west side will be the standard of the forces with Ephraim according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Ephraim will be Elishama the son of Ammihud.” 19 His army numbered forty thousand five hundred. 20 “Next to him the tribe of Manasseh, and the leader of the children of Manasseh will be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.” 21 His army numbered thirty-two thousand two hundred. 22 “Then the tribe of Benjamin, and the leader of the children of Benjamin will be Abidan the son of Gideoni.” 23 His army numbered thirty-five thousand four hundred. 24 “Everyone numbered according to their armies of the forces with Ephraim, one hundred and eight thousand one hundred—they will be the third to break camp. 25 “The standard of the forces with Dan will be on the north side according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Dan will be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.” 26 His army numbered sixty-two thousand seven hundred. 27 “Those who camp next to him will be the tribe of Asher, and the leader of the children of Asher will be Pagiel the son of Ocran.” 28 His army numbered forty-one thousand five hundred. 29 “Then the tribe of Naphtali, and the leader of the children of Naphtali will be Ahira the son of Enan.” 30 His army numbered fifty-three thousand four hundred. 31 “Everyone numbered of the forces with Dan, one hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred—they will break camp last, with their standards.” 32 These are the ones who were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses. Everyone numbered according to their armies of the forces were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty. 33 The Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel, as JEHOVAH commanded Moses. 34 Thus the children of Israel did according to everything JEHOVAH commanded Moses; so, they camped by their standards and so they broke camp, each one by his family, according to their fathers’ houses. God’s names: JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal Christos – Anointed One Yeshuwa – Jesus Theos – Supreme Divinity, God God’s character: Delegator All companies, organizations, and families have a person in charge with leaders of the various divisions. As the head of the organization, he or she delegates the duties of the organization to his leaders or subordinates, who in turn let the rest of the organization know what they should do. JEHOVAH, as head of the children of Israel, appointed leaders for each tribe, and told them where they were to camp on each side of the tabernacle. He also told them how they were to break camp and go forward with the tabernacle in the center of them. You are the body of Christos if you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Lord. Yeshuwa is your head. 1 Corinthians 11:3 I want you to know that the head of every man is Christos, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christos is Theos. You have a place in the body of Christos. When He gives you a directive to do a specific work for Him, His directive comes from His Father, Theos, and is passed on to you. You are not exempt from work in the body of Christos. Do you know your place in the body of Christos? Are you a leader or subordinate? Do you give orders or carry them out? Let’s pray: Father, show me where I fit in the body of Christ. Let me do my work to the best of my ability, honoring You in everything I do. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. God endorsed his people having a large army in those days, obviously wanting them to be able to defend themselves from invasions by other races. Maybe wars will always remain a part of God's plan, as some important lessons must be learned from them in some ways.

More than that, He wanted them to trust Him to win the battle. I don't know if it's God's plan or Satan's plan. One thing I know, there will always be wars. Have a blessed day.

@just4him Thanks; even in our own lives we have battles that we need to trust God about for us to come through them, still trusting God, and with an increased faith in him too.
