We got a situation.

At least I got one. Every time I decide to cook a little something, I discover that it is harder than what I had expected. I made a delicious pasta dish for lunch, but I boiled too much pasta. I mixed the sauce (Mushroom and chicken breast) on top of it but for dinner I didn´t want to eat it again. And I did not want yet another dish of leftovers. I already have one serving left of the mussels risotto and I will not give it to Luna. She might not like it. I boiled some milk and added some polenta and sugar. I don´t know the name of the dish in English. And then I poured some pancake syrup on top. This was my dinner and I´m happy with it. Now I´m in bed and will try not to feel too guilty about it. It is too cold to be around. The garments I washed yesterday are not dry yet and my darned socks are soaking so I left them at the terrace. As I darned them, I thought that maybe they have some alpaca wool near Dixie. There is there a huge place where they sell all sorts of things for handy work. And as I have to start with one sock first, if I don´t reach the second I can use it in one foot. There are all sort of stories about knitting in my family When my mom was pregnant with my, my favorite aunt was living with them. She started a sweater for me but got bored before she reached the arms. My mom insisted that she finished her work and my aunt Ilse (then 20 or 21) told her that the baby might be born without arms. She was the aunt that was sent to name me and she christened me with 4 names. She acquired some common sense later in life. She´s is the only aunt I now have left (she is 102 now). And she doesn´t knit. I am now going to read. See you later. I came to bed to thaw a bit.
