It was too hot for me to get out in

I hope all of you had a great Saturday, I was going to work in the yard
well that sure didn't happen cause after I got done feeding up the dogs
& fish & coming back from town, I went outside & didn't last 30 mins
& had to come in cause my sugar dropped to the 70's & that isn't
good, I tried to hang with it but it just drug me down like a wet towel.
I now know that I can't be in the heat if it's over 70 degrees nope, I
don't know how I'm going to get anything done unless I do it after 5
at night, & work for a few hrs just so I don't get over heated which
I can do cause I have plenty of lights that I can work by in the yard.
But what I want to do outside can wait cause it's not as important
as what we need to get done in the cabin, so I will just have to be
careful with being out in the heat & not get too hot it mess's with
my sugar where it knocks me down to my knees & that's not good.
Hubby just made a pineapple cake for me, Yeah I know it's a no no
but I haven't had 1 since I've been home from the hosp & I done
did my insulin so I'm good cause not long after I'm going to bed.
I'm listening to a trump speech while eating my cake & on here
& just got done listening to Abbot & both are on a roll with what
they talked about, I can't wait for the next 8 mons to fly by.
You all take care with working outside cause the heat can be
a killer if you over do it, drink plenty of COLD ICE water to keep
cool, & have a wet rag around your shoulders it will help too.

@2ndchances24 - I did not work in the garden yesterday. On Sundays "loud noises" are not allowed, it is a day to rest. We went for a short trip to the lake in the morning and worked inside in the afternoon.

@LadyDuck That sounds like a nice thing to do
we just stayed busy most the day in the cabin
trying to get done as much as we could.

Yeah I know I work too hard on everything I do
& I have always worked like a dog all my life
& to just stop every few hrs isn't me & I know
I HAVE to learn to slow down & take more breaks.

@grenery8 Yeah I know, but the more I can get off my
shoulders & mind & list of everything I have to get done
the less I stress over it I can't stand things not getting done.

I have to avoid the direct heat, too. So, I understand. Take care of yourself.

@2ndchances24 I don't blame you. It barely hit 90 here, but I know that feeling.

@kaylachan I know since I got out of the hosp & rehab
& being home & getting SOMEWHAT of my health back
where I can do more than I expected to be doing, it gets
to me a lot more easier than it use to.

I take it you stay in when it gets too hot to be
in the yard working when it's a heatwave.

Saturday we went to a shoe store so I could get some new shoes. My shoes were hurting my toes. We also got some more mulch. We looked at some tv stands. We need one if I can ever get rid of my uncle's organ.

@Deepizzaguy I know how hard that can be when you
want to get something done but I try & do what I need to do
AFTER hrs of it being so hot where I can work longer.

You very Welcome,
More than likely, I use to live in Fla so it should
already there by now, so you stay cool when
your outside cause I know what the south heat
is like & can do if your not careful.
