Men who sing well and play the guitar

Women are really attracted to men who sing and play the guitar don't you agree? I am not just talking about the popular rock bands but ordinary people who can play the guitar. Is it really a plus for men who can sing and play the guitar? Do women really find them sexy?

I think from someone who has played severl instruments, it is the ability to learn how to read music and play an instrument competently that makes one sexy. Combine singing, and it is only a plus.

My sister and her boyfriend went for guitar lessons. She dropped out after a while but her boyfriend kept them up. He is a very shy guy, but at their wedding reception he sat on a stool with his guitar and sang to her. He sang Knights in White Satin. It was beautiful. It must have taken a lot of courage for him to do that. They have been married for 8 years, and we have never heard him sing again. It was something he wanted to do for my sister on their wedding day. Cool hey!

I've only dated 1 guy that played guitar and could sing. I think that having the talent to play a musical instrument is attractive in itself. But when they play well and sing well, I think that it's actually the confidence that he shows in himself that is attractive. But I will never again date a guy in a band! Aloha!

No, actually it's because I wanted to be supportive and go to his gigs, and to give him constructive critique afterwards. But of course several of them are mid week, staying out till 2AM, then the gigs on the weekend too (more 2AM). And my friends didn't want to go to these little dive bars (which I actually like better than clubs) and so I was usually sitting around by myself for a couple of hours being annoyed by guys hitting on the the chick sitting at the bar by herself (they think I'm lonely, I guess).
Regarding not trusting him...that wasn't an issue. Actually it was kind of nice when he had a private gig so that I couldn't go with him!! Ironically, after he came home that night, we received a phone call from the police to come to the station because some girl accused him of sexually assaulting her! 3 days later she called the police to confess that she lied. So I guess my being there at his other gigs actually kept him out of trouble, with these kind of people around!

That is very interesting. So you actually found and dated a guy who could play the guitar and sing. But you told us in your last statement that you would not date again a guy from the band, why is that so? Is the competition really tough that you did not trust him? Why can't you say anything about it? If you were a man, do you play the guitar? Has it happened when you play the guitar women suddenly tell you that you are attractive? If you are a woman, do you like men who play the guitar and sing?

I don't know the real reason of it but for some occasions its true. I've learned guitar when I was in high school and sing too. Although not all but most of girls as what I have experienced love to see a boy who can play guitar and sing too. Maybe there's some emotional affect on their part or it touches their heart for I know girls is so emotional and usually songs especially love songs penetrate that emotion.

So you mean the one who plays and sings the guitars only attracts the girls and ends up being alone? Maybe he does not like the girls who get attracted to him or he might be married so he ends up alone going back to his wife at home, don't you think so? It's a plus if they are talented like that, but that would still depend how how they look. If we find them attractive. If we get along well with them. Depends also on how they treat us and how we feel when we're with them. Out of the 18 boyfriends I've had, only a few knew how to sing, only one knew how to play the guitar but he was into a different type of music...

I think it is so because my husband plays guitar and I think that's sexy. Although, he doesn't do much of singing.

having a nice voice is really an advantage and i find it sweet when a man sings for me. women who has a good voice have an edge, too. however, i don't have good voice but still i can sing.
