pl/sql

Does anybody have sample code on how to use external tables in PL/sql ?. I am interested in seeing code that uses actual files (comma delimited or regular text files ) like oracle table. I think 9i provides the feature of using external files like tables in sql. If anybody has sample code please post it here. Thanks Ash
