It is horrible. Guys tell your wife, sister girlfriends, girl cousins wash bra before wearing. This not for the weak; I have never seen anything like this. Read the article before looking at pictures. http://www.urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl_breast_larvae.htm

This is just another Urban Legend, like the one where a woman gets a spot that keeps growing bigger and bigger and one day she washes her face, the spot bursts and hundreds of tiny spiders come crawling out as the sport she origionally had got spider eggs laid in it. Just to confirm, that spider story is an Ubran Legend! ( see this link http://www.snopes.com/horrors/insects/spiderbite.asp ) All the same, you should probably wash your underwear before wearing it mainly beucasr you don't know what chemicals may be left there from the manufacturing process, and also someone else may have tried the item on in the shop before you bought it, and i would not trust a strangers personal hygeine!

If you live in Africa then you must iron your clothes. My baby boy had a putsi fly maggot in his arm which we squeezed out ok but poor John was very sore. We first thought it was an insect bite but then it grew larger. He was only 9 months old at the time. The putsi fly lays eggs on the washing hanging on the line but the eggs are killed by ironing. I expect there are other types of bugs that do the same thing elsewhere in the world.

I think that was fabricated but it does happen. I always wash my clothes before i wear them, wether it is old or new. Proper Hygiene is also a concern here. Do you agree?

O....M....G Those poor people who have to go through that. I am so glad that I wash all my clothes before I wear them. I have always been told to wash a babys clothes and I tend to wash all of my clothes as well. I hope this is something that the CDC can get under controll.

Why are you passing this on as true, when the article you link to says it's fabricated?? That means it's false.

The email was a fabrication, but the actual condition does exist and there was a woman, a 70 year old woman, who did suffer something similar. The video was real, but not related to this case. YOu should follow the advice in the article.

Yes, this may be an urban legend, but would you rather take that chance?.. I think it would be much safer to just wash throughly any undergarment we just bought or has been given to us; who knows, this might be for real and/or possible. We all know that parasites can cram themselves almost anywhere so we better not take chances. Remember, Prevention is better than cure, nobody wants worms, maggots, or whatever evil insects crawling around their private parts.
