I use both but prefer yahoo messenger, most of my friends and family use yahoo. Msn messenger is used maily for work purposes.

and why is the distinction? is it because you had yahoo the first time when you used any messenger and dont want to get into the hassle of converting all your contacts to msn? Or some other feature that attracts u in yahoo messenger?

actually i had msn first, but many of my friends and family use yahoo. it is just easier that way and my children are also familiar with yahoo.

I find it hard to choose between these 2 as i use both of them regularly... although i have used msn for much longer yahoo recently updated to bt communicator on my pc and that has new fun and games that are not yet available on msn.... eg drawing on the screen together like its a drawing board... however i feel msn works out better for me cuz i am used to it and that still has got games for people to play together... msn is also one of the original and i enjoy sticking to what i know a lot of the time. peace x

Yahoo! But it's only because they have LAUNCHcast, where I can program my own station. I love that!!! I'm not big on IMing, so I only use them ocassionally, except for the LAUNCHcast.
