A Walk to Remember: Definitely A Movie to Remember!

When I first saw the trailer of the movie A Walk to Remember, I really felt that I should come and see it play in the movie house. I never had imagined Mandy Moore being an actress because of her apparent mannerisms, which are really showing even when she's in front of the cam. But yes, after I've seen--and even during watching the movie, I really adored the main characters in it. Imagine Mandy Moore portraying a girl who's so innocent, loving and studious--far from her self having been seen in her "candy" image. A two-thumbs up for her acting, it is. And even after I've seen the film for more than five times, it doesn't seem to fade. Like, I still cry to the scenes shown during their moments--when the male lead learns that her girlfriend has a serious health problem, when they professed their undying love to each other, when they have to accept the fact that the female lead is dying, etc. Those are the moments that always make me a tear-jerk whenever I see the movie-every now and then! This is definitely a movie to remember. Exactly!

Never in all these years I have come across as beautiful and pure character as Jaime Sullivan (played by Mandy Moore). I absolutely lost my heart to Mandy Moore's character here, a reminder of what I never found but always desired. I was also impressed by the performance of Shane West. He played the role of Landon Carter. A Walk To Remember is my ultimate favorite movie. It touched my heart. It blows LOVE STORY totally out of the water.

yes, they both played good for their parts. :) two thumbs up to mandy moore, considering she's originally a singer. and in that film, it shows that she did try her best to avoid showing her mannerisms. :D

..And I heard from my friend that the story in the book is slightly different from that of the movie. So it's interesting to be read as well. :D

Yes, definitely! A cute movie, it is. When I first saw the trailer, I was amazed that Mandy Moore would portray such role. But she proved that she can really act. The plot is simple and usual. What moves the story are the characters.

"A Walk To Remember" is my favorite movie ever because it has a touching story. The main casts, Mandy Moore and the guy, (ohh I forgot the name of the guy) is a perfect tandem. Plus you will fall in love with the movie soundtrack especially the songs Cry, Only Hope, Someday We'll Know and It's Gonna Be Love.
