30's, single female

I just got out of a meeting where a female was telling me and the others around me that she was in her 30's, and single, but guys are worthless. I am in a relationship, so I was safe, but I got the distinct impression she was on the make. Either she wants to get in a fight or she wants to get laid or both. Do guys put out mixed messages like that? I guess I don't understand females too well.

well she must have just wanted a sounding board. she had probably just been through a break up, thats why the emphasis on her being single. women with such strong opinions about men have generally been hurt by one but still hope that theres someone better out there, but at the moment shes probably still smarting from the hurt to admit it. guys tend to do that too. if theyve just had a bad break up ive heard them rant and rave about women and how they are better off alone :)

In some of the groups I attend the wisdom of the group is to stay out of a relationship for a year after a real bad break up, since it is thought the person would need that time to get back in touch with themselves. What do you think?

yes its a good thing to stay away but its also hard if youve been in a relationship to get used to being single again. thats why there are so many rebound relationships but it never works. at that time you actually need to have a lot of friends around you who will take you out and be willing to listen to your ranting but not many people are that lucky

lol, nic efemale, she wanted sympathy for that or was she hinting to take guys hoe but also flashing sign that she is too dignified to let anyone take anyone her home. I pity the man who ends up withher.Guys alsodo that I have met a few but then they straighten up and fall all over thier heads if some pretty babe walks in her skimpy dress.

Like I said, the messages were mixed. I am glad I am safe.

sounds to me like she wanted a sounding board - you should feel sorry for the guy who actually takes her home, lol

I am glad I was safe; she looked tough, but also had a look that she could be hurt. For some reason that appeals to some men.
