this is my opinion .. i think weezer play indie rock music but the lyrics so emosional :D

well, weezer is pretty cool band. and they can prove that they're not a one hit wonder band. they play well.. from super emo song till fun song..

they lyrics are do emo and most of they're music sound emo, but i don't think they're an emo band since they were formed before trend of emo exist.

No, not an emo band. I always hated that word "emo." Stupidest genre ever. Isn't all music emotional by default?

Absolutely not. Weezer has been around since all this "emo" stuff came out. Weezer is more indie. I find it ridiculous that so many people try to catagorize any song with feelings as emo.

no.....theyre kinda NERDY if u will. but yea theyre anything but emo. if u ask me i think theyre anything but a good band. not to hateful but i do truly hate their music. ive given the music a lot of chances but i just cant get into it at all.

no way is weezer an emo band. acually they werent back when they made their first 4 albums. but i dont know now, it looks like reality finally caught up with them. since they're wearing black all the time and stuff. they were cool back in the day...

No, i mean not realy. i think They are just like "cuek"(what in english?), dont care bout do their music being accept or not by people (that time).

Nope. One of the better bands out there today, underrated. Cool songs, catchy melodies, Cuomo can shred solos with lots of flavor in it, emotions, not just speed.
