Tattoos and piercings

I just replied to a question about teens and suntanning beds and I got to wondering about Tattoos. I'm sure this has been asked before, but what are your thoughts on INK and holes (Tattoo's and Piercings)?

Ink, I love ink. I have a tattoo of a cross on my shoulder blade, you could check it out in my photos. Piercings is not my type of body art. I express myself better with tattoos.

I work with a guy who has a few tats and lots of magazines on the art. Some are crude, some are beautiful. I have seen some wild designs around peoples privates; my first thought is OUCH!, but then I thought some of these are really great.

I love both. I have my tongue and ears peirced, but I'd love to get more, and I have one tattoo, but again, I'd love to get more. I'm planning on getting 3-4 more tattoos, and I'm not sure what other peircings I want, but I think I'd get something else pierced.
